Jeremy used to be my English teacher and I was impressed by his patience and enthusiasm. Last semester I struggled a lot with one of the English papers at university, even through my tutor and lecturer were really helpful, I still had difficulties with many fundamental errors. I have to say, learning a language is different from learning science, so sometimes you do need a guide.
What Our Students Say
I asked Jeremy to proofread my writing assignments of my master study. His professional advice helped me to improve not only my grammar but also the entire readability. You would become able to organize the structure and the flow better, and enhance your logic.
Jeremy is a great and awesome teacher. I asked him a lot of grammar questions out of class. Every timeI asked him, he taught me in detail and gave me extra information related with the grammar until I understood them, even though I took his lunch time many times. He encourages the students to study, because his class is always fun with using youtube clips and outgoing activities.
I really enjoyed the time in school with the teacher Jeremy Bone. I appreciate his way of teaching so up to date with poltical and worldshaking themes. His lessons were varied and never boring. He was really dedicated and helpful and it was easy to understand what he taught us.
I turned to Jeremy Bone for help in IELTS writing preparation 3 weeks before my upcoming test. He is a knowledgeable, experienced and qualified teacher, who can identify the differences between my writing and goal writing and give alternative solutions to improve the way I expressed myself.
English academic writing has been an issue for me. Even though I made preparation before I started my study in University of Otago, I always feel less confident in it. During my 4 weeks program in University of Otago Language Centre and Foundation Year, Jeremy taught me not only related to study but also how to survive living in Dunedin.
Jeremy was very good in helping me to adjust to New Zealand. He not only assisted me to cope with the different academic system but also helped me to adjust to the social and environmental conditions in New Zealand, particularly in Dunedin. He also made it easier for me to understand the Kiwi accent and prepare myself for the “unique” weather.
